 We have started our next unit in math which builds upon our place value knowledge. We will be counting, adding and subtracting within 1,000.  We used a variety of materials (unifix cubes, popsicle sticks and base 10 pieces) to visualize and manipulate these larger numbers.

 How wonderful to be free from all the winter gear this week!!

 Every Monday we take a yoga break before starting our afternoon work. We slow down, stretch and breathe.  It has taken a little getting used to, but I am so proud of them for sticking with it. I think they are even starting to like it!  :)

 It was not that long ago that snow was on the ground!  We practiced counting by 3´s and noticed the patterns that emerge while getting creative making snow people!
